The choice of gearbox or lever operation for any particular valve will be dependant upon a number of factors although generally the preference for valves up to and including 10” (DN250) is to install them as lever operated units.

The unit is a gearbox operated wafer pattern butterfly valve with coated cast iron body, EPDM seal and 304 stainless steel disc and stem.
